Job summary

KForce is seeking a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting in New York City, NY. The role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting and involves supporting SEC filings and internal controls across divisions. The firm offers remote work options and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3-4+ years experience, including 2+ years at a Big 4.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls/SOX.
• Ability to collaborate across units and functions.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing SEC filings (10Q, 10K, 8K, 11K) and investor materials.
• Prepare work papers to support SEC filings.
• Support ICFR in the corporate finance function.
• Lead annual impairment assessment of goodwill and other intangibles.
• Handle ad hoc projects including SEC and FASB accounting reviews.
