Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with eight years of accounting or finance experience, including two years in training or instruction.
• Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance with six years of experience in accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with four years of accounting experience.
• Master’s degree with two years of accounting experience.
• Broad knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and GAAP.
• Knowledge of GAAP and general office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex financial statements and oversee posting to general ledgers; verify books and bank reconciliations.
• Analyze financial operations and recommend policy or procedure enhancements.
• Review and improve automated financial statements.
• Oversee audit preparation and develop required schedules and reconciliation reports; monitor monthly project revenues and expenditures.
• Provide guidance or training to less-experienced accountants at site.
• Perform other duties as required.
