Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring timely completion.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and other GL transactions.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze GL activity and financial results for trends and issues.
• Support monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Assist with AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory, and other accounting functions as needed.
• Prepare analyses and schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and others to resolve accounting issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Support audits with schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Contribute to system enhancements and process automation.

Job Duties

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and other general ledger transactions.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze general ledger activity and financial results to identify trends, variances, and potential issues.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting.
• Utilize SAP to record, review, research, and reconcile accounting transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory, and other accounting functions as needed.
• Prepare account analyses and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Partner with FP&A, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Help implement standardized procedures and documentation to improve accuracy and consistency.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and requested documentation.
• Assist with system enhancements, process automation, and other accounting projects.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable GAAP requirements.
• Take ownership of accounting processes and proactively identify ways to make the function more efficient and scalable.
