Job summary

TydeCo is seeking a Senior Accountant—independent contractor—to serve as strategic advisor within the CAAS team. Remote in the U.S., you will lead month-end close, support multi-client engagements, and mentor staff accountants.

You will implement Sage Intacct, FloQast, and QuickBooks Online, provide data-driven insights, and help optimize financial processes and controls in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience at Senior Accountant/Senior Staff Accountant level or higher, preferably in outsourced accounting or advisory services.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct and FloQast for close management and automation.
• Experience leading multi-client engagements and mentoring staff accountants.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee client onboarding and Sage Intacct implementations.
• Provide fractional Controller-level support and strategic financial insights.
• Assist in system migrations and workflow automation to improve efficiency.
• Deliver training and quarterly financial reviews for clients.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with sales/account management to align deliverables with scope.
