Job summary

UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group is seeking an Interim Sage Intacct Consultant for a remote contract role. The candidate will implement and configure Sage Intacct, support integrations, and optimize accounting processes across ledgers, AP, AR, and month-end close.

Ideal candidates have hands-on Sage Intacct experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel analysis. Collaboration withAccounting, IT, and business stakeholders is essential to drive system improvements and testing

Qualifications

• Hands-on Sage Intacct implementation and configuration.
• Strong accounting principles and GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Experience with system testing, UAT, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Understanding of accounting system integrations and data flows.
• Experience with workflow configuration, user permissions, approvals, and segregation of duties.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance Sage Intacct functionality, including financial statements, dashboards, and custom reports.
• Train and support end users on Sage Intacct and accounting processes.
• Troubleshoot accounting and system issues and coordinate with internal teams or vendors.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• Support system testing, UAT, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Configure and maintain workflows, user permissions, approvals, and segregation of duties.
• Analyze accounting data and ensure accurate data flow between integrated systems.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and standard procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on support during system changes and implementation activities.
