Job summary

This role blends traditional month-end close duties with ownership of insurance programs, claims coordination, and compliance initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proven ability to improve processes and protect company assets while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with internal controls, audits, risk, or insurance.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses.
• Research and support technical accounting matters.
• Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements.
• Identify improvements to accounting processes.
• Lead insurance program coordination and risk controls.
• Coordinate renewals and manage brokers.
