Job summary

Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services in Healdsburg, CA seeks a Senior Accountant to own GL, month-end close, and asset accounting. Reporting to the Controller, you will automate processes with NetSuite, Stampli, and Vintrace, support AP/AR, and help grow into an Accounting Manager role as the department expands.

You will manage fixed assets, perform reconciliations, and drive improvements in internal controls and procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 5+ years of general ledger or corporate accounting experience including month-end close.
• Manufacturing, wine or spirits industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience using AI tools or automation to improve accounting workflows valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close with the Controller, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, allocations and reclassifications.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items with clear documentation.
• Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and improve processes.
• Automate reconciliations, reporting, and routine accounting tasks with AI tools.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and partner on system changes.
