Job summary

True Green Capital Management LLC in Connecticut is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to maintain financial records and execute monthly closes across a portfolio of renewable energy project companies.

You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, period-end reporting for lenders and tax equity, assist with audits, and support investor reporting across multiple entities using NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Sage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple SPVs.
• Record journal entries across accruals, deferrals, adjustments, and allocations.
• Prepare financial reporting for lenders and tax equity counterparties.
• Perform account reconciliations across cash, balance sheet, revenue, and expenses.
• Manage quarterly and year-end close activities for assigned project companies.
• Coordinate bank and account reconciliations as part of the close process.
• Prepare supporting schedules for review and reporting purposes.
• Support external audits and tax preparation processes for project companies.
• Assist fund-level closing and investor reporting.
