LevelUp, a US-based outsourcing partner, seeks a Senior Accountant for a 6-month contract through year-end close and audit season. The role requires sharp attention to detail, complex Excel workbooks, and independent problem solving.

You will work with a US client on accruals, month-end and year-end close, and audit support, remote from the Philippines. The position is fully remote (Philippines-based) with a fixed schedule from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior or external audit work.
• US GAAP knowledge and experience supporting US-based companies.
• Experience owning accruals and supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Proven experience preparing audit support and financial statements with attention to detail.
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), complex formulas.
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• Availability to work US business hours for full duration of the contract.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly accruals process, reviewing POs and contracts to determine accruals.
• Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring books are accurate and closed on time.
• Prepare interim and year-end audit support, pulling docs and building workbooks for statements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements with reconciled figures and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare annual stock option roll forward using Carta reports for the statements.
• Use prior-year work papers to replicate balances for the current year.
• Support revenue-related work where needed.
