Job summary

Bridge Core (BCore) seeks a Senior Accountant to own accounts payable and payroll across multiple legal entities. You’ll support general ledger tasks in Unanet, process vendor payments, and manage 1099s in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. Expect a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in a remote-capable setup in the DC metro region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Unanet (required).
• Experience with accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable and payroll functions.
• Provide general ledger accounting support across multiple entities in Unanet.
• Process and post expense reports.
• Manage vendor setup and 1099s.
• Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll in Paylocity and post labor costs.
• Reconcile payroll tax notices and collaborate with Paycor as needed.
