Job summary

Atlantic Group in New York City is seeking an accounting professional to manage accounts payable, cash positions, partner distributions, and monthly reporting. You will maintain ledgers, loan schedules, and bank reconciliations, while supporting investor reporting and distribution calculations.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years accounting experience, preferably in REITs, real estate investment firms or related platforms.
• Public and private accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• CPA preferred and GAAP knowledge would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, cash positions, and partner distributions
• Maintain accounting ledgers, loan schedules, and bank reconciliations
• Support investor reporting and distribution calculations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and JV financial reporting packages
• Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and lender reporting requirements
• Work closely with investment, asset management, tax, and external audit teams

Ideal Background

• 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a REIT, real estate investment firm, fund, or related platform
• Combination of public and private accounting experience strongly preferred
• CPA preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with Yardi and/or MRI highly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Proactive, self-starter mindset with excellent communication skills
