Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery in Dallas, TX seeks a Senior Accountant to manage journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany processes, and ledger analyses for Oncor and related entities. This role supports financial reporting, regulatory filings, and internal controls within a regulated utility framework.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of accounting experience, a BA in Accounting, and familiarity with GAAP and regulatory environments. Hybrid schedule requires in-office presence three days weekly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and regulated industry practices.
• Experience with regulatory accounting and rate case filings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 2010 or newer.

Responsibilities

• Performs monthly closing responsibilities including journal entry preparation and approval, account reconciliations and analysis.
• Prepares and analyzes financial and operational information for SEC reporting and audit inquiries.
• Prepares and analyzes information for compliance filings with PUCT, FERC and other regulators.
• Prepares invoicing/billing changes for specific customer groups.
• Cost accounting analysis for Oncor business units.
• Prepares various reports for management as requested.
