Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an experienced Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, ensure accurate financial records, and drive timely month-end close in accordance with GAAP.

You will partner with the Controller to strengthen controls and improve processes while maintaining meticulous documentation. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, and the ability to work across multiple entities in a

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience with multi-entity environments (preferred).
• Experience improving accounting processes and internal controls (preferred).

Mansioni

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for Controller review.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform reconciliations.
• Support daily and monthly bank, credit card, and financing reconciliations.
• Assist with inventory, fixed assets, and lease accounting.
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
• Ensure records are complete, accurate, and well documented.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed.
