Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Strong financial analysis and variance-analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and complex formulas.
• Practical experience with Power BI reporting and dashboards.
• Experience with a major ERP/accounting system.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Reconcile balance sheet, bank, cash, merchant, and other financial accounts.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, working capital, cash flow, and variances.
• Prepare financial statements and recurring management reports.
• Investigate discrepancies and material fluctuations.
• Support accounts receivable, cash application, and collections analysis.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Use advanced Excel to analyze large data sets and streamline reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting and reporting processes.
• Support audit requests, internal controls, and GAAP compliance.
• Participate in system implementations and reporting enhancements.
