Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in roofing and building materials and seeks a Senior Accountant to own payroll accounting and related reconciliations across North America, including intercompany balances and the Workday-to-JDE cycle.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, strong ERP skills (Workday/JDE), and solid Excel abilities; CPA progress is a plus. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA asset.
• 4+ years progressive accounting experience in multi-site/manufacturing.
• Experience with Workday, JDE, or comparable ERP/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll accounting and reconciliations for ~20 sites.
• Review Workday-to-JDE payroll entries for accuracy and coding.
• Stabilize payroll processes and implement corrections.
• Manage payroll clearing accounts and reconcile to cash activity.
• Prepare payroll journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet recs.
• Assist with month-end/year-end close and audits.
