Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business.
• 5+ years of experience in government fund accounting.
• Experience in payroll and payroll implementation.
• MIP Abila Fund accounting software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
• Transmit 941, 940, 944 and 943 via MIP Abila accounting software.
• Calculate garnishment deductions and process for payment.
• Set up general ledger journal entries for payroll.
• Reconciling all payroll accounts.
• Monitor due dates, confirm amounts and generate electronic tax payments.
