Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge and accounting best practices.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice review, coding verification, approvals, and payment processing.
• Oversee customer billing activities, post payments, investigate discrepancies, and support collections efforts for outstanding balances.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure account accuracy.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting subledgers.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review.
• Support internal controls, compliance initiatives, and financial documentation processes.
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors regarding year-end reporting and tax-related matters.
• Develop ad hoc financial, operational, and administrative reports as needed.
• Participate in process improvements, special projects, and other initiatives that support business growth.
