Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization to hire an experienced Senior Accountant. You will support corporate and operational accounting with hands-on NetSuite expertise across multiple entities and partner with operations teams to drive accuracy and process improvements.

Responsibilities include month-end close, variance analysis, reconciliations, audits, and internal control support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience with a transaction-based operational accounting system or similar platform.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Experience supporting audits.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Healthcare, dental, or multi-location service industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and support month-end close.
• Perform income statement and balance sheet variance analysis.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Utilize NetSuite for financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Reconcile operational transaction activity to the general ledger and bank activity.
• Research and resolve discrepancies related to payments, deposits, adjustments, and write-offs.
• Investigate transaction-level details to identify posting errors and other discrepancies.
• Partner with operations teams to resolve accounting issues and improve accuracy.
• Support internal controls, reconciliation processes, and segregation of duties.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting and operational workflows.
