Leoforce is seeking a Senior Accountant in Los Angeles to manage hands-on accounting across multiple entities, including month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, and audit support. You will work within a nonprofit finance team to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with auditors and cross-functional budgeting efforts, with a focus on detail and independent work in a dynamic nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong month-end close and reconciliation experience.
• NetSuite experience required.
• Budgeting experience.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Nonprofit accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records for assets, liabilities, revenue, expenses.
• Perform monthly account and balance sheet reconciliations and related analysis.
• Handle month-end closing responsibilities and prepare journal entries.
• Support annual audit with financial records and schedules.
• Work with auditors during the audit process.
• Reconcile interfund and intercompany activity between entities.
• Assist with budgeting and financial analysis.
• Oversee batching and processing of weekly check requests.
• Assist with AP, AR, and other accounting functions.
• Support Finance team with additional accounting projects.
