The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit environments. Strong Excel skills and analytic abilities are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or finance.
• Seven or more years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit accounting.
• Experience with grants and contracts billing.
• Experience with general ledger, month-end close, and internal audits.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Aufgaben

• Apply cash receipts on a daily basis and reconcile discrepancies.
• Work with other departments for timely recording and billing on revenue items (leases, grants billing, contract billing).
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly rent roll on leases and distribute monthly invoices.
• Prepare summary cash receipt reports and distribute to senior management.
• Prepare program-specific summary reports as directed.
• Complete month-end closing and supporting schedules for assigned accounts.
• Perform financial analysis as needed and assist with ad-hoc projects.
• Provide backup support and cross-train with team members.
