Job summary

Staff Financial Group in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, GL management, month‑end closes, and internal controls across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, a CPA designation or portions completed, and hands‑on ERP experience with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/MD365. Hybrid work: 3 days in office, 2 remote. Base salary $95k–$100k plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA designation or portions of CPA exam completed preferred.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with a large enterprise ERP system (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/MD365) required.
• Experience in multi-site, multi-location, or multi-state environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, P&L) across locations.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and GAAP compliance.
• Support accounting operations across sites and states for consistent reporting.
• Perform reconciliations, code invoices, and support monthly close.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and address banking inquiries.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Review AP invoices for proper coding and allocation across locations.
• Leverage ERP system to manage financial transactions and reporting workflows.
• Identify opportunities to optimize ERP functionality and automate processes.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
