Job summary

Knighted Services Inc is seeking a Senior Accountant in Dallas, TX to join our growing accounting team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will lead month-end close activities, prepare journal entries, and support audits with accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a proactive problem-solver capable of handling multi-entity accounting in a fast-paced environment, with strong Excel and ERP skills, including NetSuite. CPA preferred. Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-location environments is required.
• Intercompany accounting experience is required.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
• ERP accounting systems experience; NetSuite preferred.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• FloQast or similar financial close software a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned areas of the month-end close process.
• Prepare, review, and record journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Accrue expenses and revenue as needed.
• Ensure reconciliations are complete and accurate by close.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Investigate reconciling items and discrepancies.
• Perform financial statement analysis and variance analysis.
• Support external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Identify process improvements and internal controls enhancements.
• Mentor Staff Accountants and contribute to a collaborative team.
