Job summary

Fitler Club is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage our month-end close process, including revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounts receivable communication. This full-time role requires in-office presence five days a week and a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, with strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 4–6 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in hospitality or service-oriented industries strongly preferred.
• Experience in accounts receivable or member billing workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close cycle with revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and P&L analysis.
• Maintain and communicate revenue tracking models to inform department heads of financial trends.
• Bi-weekly payroll booking and assist with tip reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budget development with essential financial insights.
• Process, record, and reconcile incoming payments for membership, hotel, and private events.
• Address billing inquiries and resolve issues via email, phone, or in person.
• Collaborate with department managers to resolve member dispute items.
• Keep Controller updated on delinquent accounts and issue past-due notices.
• Manage tracking, issuance, and redemption of Gift Certificates and Club Credit Books.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements with executive management.
