Job summary

The Treasure Valley Family YMCA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. This position is responsible for supporting the organization's accounting and financial reporting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and maintaining compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

This role plays a key part in the month-end close, financial statement preparation, fixed asset accounting, and financial systems support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP or financial management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities to ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals and prepaids.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and supporting docs.
• Develop internal management reports and variance analyses.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
• Support A/R and A/P processes and ERP system maintenance.
