Job summary

The Judge Group in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Accountant to manage month-end close, financial reporting, and core accounting duties. This full-time role includes accounts payable, tax filings, vendor reconciliations, and daily financial support.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, have accounting experience (hospitality a plus), and demonstrate strong Excel and QuickBooks skills. Competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Previous accounting experience; hospitality industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar financial software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Accounting administration: tax payments and filings.
• Process business license applications and renewals.
• Review and reconcile sales tax and accommodation tax returns.
• Accounts payable and financial support: monitor balances; vendor reconciliations; daily operations and special projects.
