Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A few years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or product-based business.

Responsibilities

• Play an important role in the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory activity, and operational results to identify trends, explain variances, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to better understand manufacturing processes and their financial impact.
• Support product costing, inventory valuation, and analysis of manufacturing-related expenses.
• Participate in inventory management and reconciliation activities, helping identify discrepancies and improve reporting accuracy.
• Assist with financial analysis and reporting that provides leadership with greater visibility into business performance.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to special projects and cross-functional initiatives that support the company's financial and operational objectives.
