Job summary

The Senior Accountant role at Thomson Power Systems, a Regal Rexnord company, is an on-site position in Arlington reporting to the Controller. You will manage general ledger, payroll, inventories, costings, and monthly close while partnering with plant operations and corporate finance to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include journal entries, reporting, cost analysis, system improvements, and KPI tracking to support plant management and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in operational accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger and financial reporting.
• Maintain payroll and attendance files.
• Develop annual plan schedules and overhead rates.
• Coordinate, conduct, and analyze physical inventories.
• Develop and implement new systems and system improvements.
• Analyze product costs and variances from budget/forecasts.
• Process BOM analysis and review.
• Review and input scrap into system.
• Prepare and analyze key daily, weekly, and monthly reports/dashboards.
• Support monthly close process and prepare key balance sheet and income statement reports.
