Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Cost Accountant to develop and maintain standard costing, analyze manufacturing costs, and drive efficiency. This role reports to the Plant Controller and partners with operations and finance to improve profitability.

You will support monthly closes, inventory reconciliation, and process improvements while ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate reporting across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience; manufacturing is a plus.
• GAAp knowledge and accounting principles.
• Proficient Excel with pivot tables and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for annual revaluation and new materials.
• Align direct material pricing, freight, labor hours, and machine hours with planning and production.
• Compile labor and manufacturing spend reports and lead cost-review meetings.
• Analyze production cost variances and support improvements.
• Prepare and post monthly close journal entries.
• Support inventory cycle counts and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and policy adherence.
• Identify and implement process improvements for accurate information.
