Job summary

Safran S.A. is seeking a Senior Accountant to drive month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with Operations and Finance leadership to ensure accuracy, strengthen controls, and support business performance.

Responsibilities include GL analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, and process improvements across fixed assets, tax, and expenditures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit support, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities for accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Analyze GL activity, variances, and trends; provide management reporting.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve inventory controls and costing.
