Job summary

Accountants One has partnered with an established manufacturing client to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their Johns Creek team. This in-office role offers growth in a fast-paced environment and exposure to core accounting operations.

The Senior Accountant will own the general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, and mentor junior staff, while serving as the expert for travel and expense management, sales and use tax compliance, and audit support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Accountant in manufacturing or distribution.
• BS, Accounting or Business Administration.
• SAP knowledge required.
• Strong communication, time management and analytical skills.
• Occasional domestic or international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the core accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Own general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
