Job summary

Diptyque Paris is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations for the U.S. and Canada entities, reporting to the Controller and supervising one junior accountant.

The role covers reconciliations, month-end close, tax compliance, and financial analysis across retail, eCommerce, and corporate channels, with emphasis on accuracy and controls. You will coordinate with external advisors, assist system implementations, and drive process improvements in a

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BA in Accounting or related Finance Degree.
• At least 5+ years of accounting experience; luxury goods experience is a plus.
• Experience mentoring or training junior team members is a plus.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.
• Technology savvy with experience in various ERP software.
• Proficient in Excel, having experience with NAV is a plus.
• Analytical, high attention to detail, high level organization and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records and reconciliations.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile complex balance sheet accounts; identify and resolve reconciliation items.
• Analyze large volumes of transactional data across retail, eCommerce, and corporate channels for accurate reporting.
• Review and reconcile corporate credit card and Concur expense reporting processes.
• Support accounting operations related to new store openings, including setup and reporting.
• Coordinate bank reconciliations in partnership with the Junior Accountant.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and increase efficiency.
