Qualifications

• 3+ years of US insurance accounting experience.
• Experience with life/annuity/health insurance preferred.
• Understanding of US GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles.
• Blue Book / statutory statement experience desirable.
• ERP system experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare US GAAP and statutory financial statements.
• Account for multiple life/health insurance entities.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist with Blue Book / statutory reporting.
• Support external audits and statutory examinations.
• Maintain internal controls and analyze variances.
• Collaborate with the wider Finance team on process improvements.
