Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team in a hybrid work environment in Wisconsin. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while partnering with leadership on process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and at least 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or distribution. A family-feel culture and clear path for advancement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Manufacturing or distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review the work of accounting staff and provide coaching and direction.
• Assist with financial reporting and internal controls.
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and special projects.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across accounting activities.
