Job summary

CFS in Madison, Wisconsin seeks a Senior Tax Accountant to join our hybrid office. You will oversee and prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, nonprofits, and trusts, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA eligibility or EA welcomed, and at least 2 years of tax experience. We offer a flexible hybrid schedule, profit sharing, 401(k) matching, and generous PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification or eligibility.
• EA - Enrolled Agent welcomed.
• 2+ years in tax preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage a portfolio of tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
