• Performs monthly reconciliations of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Oversees and provides guidance to the Accounting Assistants; reviews their work and processes.
• Acts as a role model in the department and with internal business partners, demonstrating professional judgment and customer-service orientation.
• Provides general accounting assistance to Accountants and Business units.
• Assists with project management of new implementations or processes.
• Proactively identifies solutions to discrepancies in financial records.
• Verifies, allocates, posts and reconciles Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Prepares Monthly Financial Statements accurately and timely.
• Prepares Year-end audits and account reconciliations.
• Liaison between Accounting and other departments.
