Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is hiring a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team in Nashville, with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote). This high-visibility role offers exposure to complex accounting areas, supportive leadership, and strong long-term growth potential.

You will drive the monthly close, analyze P&L and balance sheets, assist with consolidation, SOX controls, and cross-functional partnerships across Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Legal and IT; a CPA and prior financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience in large or high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting, debits/credits.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• CPA, financial services experience, or systems migration experience are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Prepare P&L and balance sheet analysis and reporting.
• Support consolidation adjustments and financial reporting.
• Assist with SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Partner cross-functionally with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Legal, IT, and other business units.
• Help drive process improvements and participate in special projects.
• Gain exposure to investment accounting and other complex accounting areas.
