Job summary

Patrick Ta Beauty is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in West Hollywood, CA. You will own inventory reconciliations, cost accounting, general ledger management, and financial reporting, partnering with the Controller and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and growth.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, CPA preferred, and strong knowledge of NetSuite and Excel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA preferred.
• Experience with inventory reconciliations, physical counts, and cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in NetSuite required.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX‑MATCH).
• Experience in CPG/beauty/retail/e‑commerce is preferred.
• High-growth or startup experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory sub-ledger reconciliation between NetSuite and 3PL and manufacturers.
• Perform cost accounting including landed costs and COGS by SKU.
• Prepare gross margin analysis by product line and sales channel.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; post journal entries.
• Support month-end close and look for efficiencies in close cycle.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports with variance analysis.
• Handle accounts payable including 3-way matching and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, cash application, and aging.
• Reconcile bank and credit card activity; record cash transfers.
• Support annual audit and tax compliance; respond to auditors.
• Document and improve accounting policies and internal controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations on inventory reconciliations.
