Job summary

Patrick Ta Beauty is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team, reporting to the Controller. You will own inventory reconciliations, cost accounting, general ledger management, and financial reporting, partnering with two other Senior Accountants to strengthen the brand’s financial integrity.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of accounting experience, expertise in NetSuite and Excel, and a background in consumer goods, beauty, or retail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with inventory reconciliations, physical counts, and cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the inventory sub-ledger reconciliations between NetSuite and 3PL providers; investigate variances and adjust as needed.
• Understand and perform cost accounting, including landed costs and COGS reporting.
• Prepare gross margin analysis by SKU, product line, and sales channel.
• Maintain and own assigned general ledger accounts; post journal entries, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Support month-end close processes and look for ways to streamline the close cycle.
• Perform accounts payable processing including 3-way matching; manage AR invoicing and cash application.
• Reconcile bank and credit card activities; analyze and accrue trade spend.
• Support the annual audit process and state/local tax compliance; assist external auditors.
• Document and improve accounting policies and cross-functional collaboration with operations.
