Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Accounting experience, either in insurance or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and preferably statutory accounting.
• Experience in auditing and internal controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare accruals and adjustments for month-end close.
• Support statutory and GAAP reporting, including regulatory compliance.
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation.
• Partner with internal teams providing accounting guidance.

Skills

Accounting experience within an insurance company

Strong understanding of GAAP

Ability to analyze financial performance

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
