Job summary

A growing health insurance organization is seeking a Sr. Accountant (Insurance) to strengthen its finance team. The role offers remote work options and a salary of $75k-$85k with comprehensive health benefits. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of General Accounting experience within insurance or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and statutory accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare accruals and ensure accurate financial statement preparation.
• Support statutory and GAAP reporting including actuarial-backed financials.
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance with internal controls.
• Streamline accounting workflows and financial controls.
