Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting or industry.
• Experience in both GAAP and STAT reporting for insurance companies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close for insurance entity.
• Prepare account reconciliations and process journal entries.
• Interact with external auditors for financial statement audits.

Skills

Very proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong financial accounting/general ledger skills

Experience in Property & Casualty insurance

Experience with STAT Annual Statement software

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
