Crown Castle International is seeking an Accountant III to ensure accounting policy compliance, manage monthly closes, and analyze complex balance sheet accounts. This role requires strong GAAP expertise, ERP experience, and the ability to work with internal auditors and external partners.
Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, complex schedules for external reporting, and driving process improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Responsible for accounting compliance with US GAAP, SOX, company policies, and debt agreements. Ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue and expense and proper classification of financial statement transactions. Ensure completeness and accuracy of balance sheet accounts along with accuracy of schedules utilized directly in 10-Q, 10-K, and other external and internal reporting. Responsible for critical review of processes for enhancement.
Reports to: Manager Accounting
This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
