Job summary

xendoo Online Accounting, Bookkeeping & Tax is seeking a full-time accountant in Fort Lauderdale, FL, to manage full accounting cycles and support small business owners. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

You will work in a technology-driven environment, with responsibilities including managing bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, and conducting financial analysis. The position offers an annual salary range of $70,000 to $85,000, with various benefits such as health insurance and 401(k) with employer match.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of experience managing full accounting cycles using both cash-basis and accrual accounting, including bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, journal entries, monthly and year-end close, and financial statement analysis
• Advanced understanding of accounting principles from cash-basis through accrual accounting, including strong knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting theory in practical situations
• Strong understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Trial Balance, etc.) and the ability to interpret complex financial information and explain it clearly to clients and team members
• Deep familiarity with accounting software workflows and the ability to identify and resolve system issues
• Comfortable working in a technology-driven environment and leveraging tools to improve efficiency
• Understanding of small business operations and a genuine interest in supporting entrepreneurs as they grow
