Job summary

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a Sr. Accountant II for the Live Nation Concerts division. This role blends transactional and intermediate to advanced accounting, requiring self-motivation and multitasking with strong knowledge of accounting principles.

The position is primarily remote, with occasional office visits. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA preferred, and 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required or preferred; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge and experience in a corporate accounting environment.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end close tasks including preparation of general ledger entries and analysis.
• Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation.
• Perform detailed reviews of regional/divisional balance sheets and bank reconciliations; ensure timely completion and documentation of issues.
• Complete divisional balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations as assigned by management.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Maintain, control and reconcile accounts that are moderate to very complex in nature.
• Assist divisional management in corporate or executive ad hoc requests.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
