Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure IFRS compliance, support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and monthly closing activities. The role involves journal entries, reconciliations, and coordination with auditors.

You will contribute to process improvements, asset accounting, and system enhancements within a global aerospace environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing industry experience.
• 3+ years of intermediate-to-advanced MS Excel experience (pivot, v-lookups, formulas).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly close process and ensure costs are recorded accurately.
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support external/internal audits and regulatory filings.
• Document and improve accounting processes to safeguard assets.
• Assist with system enhancements and reporting improvements.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting responsibilities.
