Job summary

Astound is seeking a Senior Accountant I to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, PP&E, inventory, and reporting under US GAAP. You will execute monthly closes and prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses, collaborating with Finance, Legal, AP, and FP&A.

The role requires at least 2 years of Big 4 audit experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and a CPA. Proficiency with Great Plains or SAP and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years Big 4 Audit experience required.
• Experience with month-end close procedures is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains, SAP, Blackline) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting operations and payroll, PP&E, inventory, and reporting.
• Execute monthly and quarterly close; ensure timely US GAAP reporting.
• Prepare journals, reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses.
• Own payroll, software capitalization, PP&E, and inventory processes.
• Support audits and help refine accounting processes and procedures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, AP, Payroll, FP&A, Tax.
