Astound is seeking a Senior Accountant I in New Jersey to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including payroll, PP&E, inventory, and reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles.

Responsibilities include monthly/quarterly closes under US GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration. Requires 2 years Big 4 audit and CPA certification; base salary is $90,000-$110,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum 2 years Big 4 Audit experience required.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly and quarterly close per US GAAP.
• Prepare journals and reconciliations; perform fluctuation analysis.
• Own payroll, software capitalization, PP&E, and inventory management.
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audits; assist with process improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, AP, FP&A, Tax and business owners.
