Job summary

Astound is seeking a Senior Accountant I to manage payroll, software capitalization, PP&E and inventory while ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly closes under US GAAP.

You will collaborate across Finance, Legal, AP and FP&A, drive process improvements, and support audits. A Bachelor’s in Accounting and CPA are required, with at least two years in Big 4 audit. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years Big 4 Audit experience is required.
• Month-end close experience is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems Great Plains and SAP, Blackline preferred.
• Telecommunications experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and written skills.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management and adapt quickly as business needs evolve.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly and quarterly close in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare journals, reconciliations and perform fluctuation analysis.
• Own payroll, software capitalization, PP&E and inventory processes.
• Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits and refine processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, AP, Payroll, FP&A, Tax and business owners on policies and system improvements.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.
