Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting organization in a hybrid role based in San Diego, CA or Mountain View, CA. The role focuses on month-end close, proper liability and expense classification, and strong internal controls across the business.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of accounting experience, solid GAAP knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. CPA or active CPA candidate is preferred and experience with contracts is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with close processes and internal controls.
• Ability to work in San Diego or Mountain View office at least 3 days a week.
• CPA or active CPA candidate preferred.
• Experience reviewing contracts and interpreting vendor terms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close for liabilities and expenses.
• Interpret contracts and vendor agreements for proper accounting treatment.
• Support accrual accounting across liabilities and expenses.
• Perform technical accounting research and present findings.
• Maintain strong internal controls and risk awareness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and the Business.
