Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our hybrid team in San Diego, CA or Mountain View. You will lead accounting processes, review contracts for proper classification, and drive efficient close cycles while enhancing internal controls.

The role emphasizes collaboration across Accounting, Finance, and Business partners, with opportunities to use AI and automation to improve accuracy and efficiency. A CPA is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with close processes, accrual accounting, and internal controls.
• Must be able to work out of San Diego or Mountain View office at least 3 days a week.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process for timely and accurate reporting of liabilities and expenses.
• Review contracts and vendor agreements to assess accounting implications and proper classification.
• Support accrual accounting processes across liabilities and expenses.
• Perform technical accounting research and present findings with recommended positions.
